You guys have probably noticed on my stories lately, that I have a bit of an obsession with hot choccy after a long day. But it honestly does wonders to my feelings. I feel so relaxed and satisfied when I have one in the evening. It used to be a glass of wine a few years back, but I was waking up more tired than refreshed and I was moody all day long. Well, I'm still cranky and tired sometimes, I'm not going to lie, but definitely not as often as I used to be. And I treat myself after a long day without feeling bad.

I usually make the chocolate with what we currently have in the pantry, but there are few things I never skip. Of course a good quality raw cacao (so much better for us than chocolate or cocoa powder because it's full of minerals and nutrients), good fats (they're good for the mood and satiety, in this case coconut cream and cocoa butter), gelatine or collagen (great for our gut health) and last few weeks also the @teelixir functional mushrooms (I'm using the reishi mushroom, which is known for its relaxing and calming properties). And I topped this one with whipped coconut cream as well, because why not 👌🏻😁

Nourish not punish 💪🏻 Yes, I had some extra Nourish not punish 💪🏻
Yes, I had some extra chocolate and other delicious meals over the Easter and I didn’t exercise as much as usual. And that’s it, end of story. No need for decreasing calories or spending extra time in the gym because of 2 days of eating chocolate. Instead I’m going to put all the colourful and nourishing veggies on my plate again, together with good source of protein and healthy fats. 
And I encourage you to do the same 😉 Nurture yourself and be kind to yourself 😊 #nourishnotpunish 

Today’s breakfast - savoury beef mince with mixed veggies, sautéed silverbeet with onion, air-fried  sweet potato and spud lite (white potato with lower carbs, trying to have it every now and then and seeing how my body reacts) and braised red cabbage, all topped with @celebratehealth sugar free BBQ sauce 👌🏻

Zadne trestani sebe sama, ubirani kalorii a extra cas v posilovne se nekona. Kvuli dvema dnum, kdy clovek jedl cokoladu to opravdu neni potreba. Misto toho se radeji zamerim na to, aby na mem taliri bylo co nejvic barevne a vyzivne zeleniny, doplnene o kvalitni bilkoviny a zdrave tuky.

But I couldn't help myself. Because we all know banana pancakes, right? They are an awesome staple in many households, easy and delicious breakfast. And I thought how about their Easter version? Something that you could whip up during the long Easter weekend and have as a nice treat for breakky? And that's how I came up with the idea of Carrot Cake Pancakes (Paleo, Sugar-Free). Instead of icing I topped them up with natural coconut yoghurt, @lakanto sugar free maple syrup and roasted pecans. 15 minutes all up and voila, special festive breakfast is on the table 👌🏻

Ale ja si proste nemohla pomoct. Protoze vsichni uz zname bananove livance, ze? Super recept, ktery tvori vikendovou snidani v mnoha domacnostech. Ale ja mela chut vytvorit jejich velikonocni verzi. Neco specialniho, co byste si mohli ukuchtit behem nadchazejicich svatku. A tak jsem prisla s napadem na tyhle Mrkvove Livance (Paleo, Sugar-Free). Misto dortove polevy jsem je pak jen doplnila o kokosovy jogurt, javorovym sirupem bez cukru a oprazenymi pekany. A behem 15 minut byla snidane na stole 👌🏻

As you probably noticed here, I’ve been really b As you probably noticed here, I’ve been really busy with work, studies and the blog and also feeling pretty off for the last couple of weeks. So I was really grateful when @livesoulara sent me some of their colourful meals. I have never tried a meal delivery before, but I can say I could get really used to that. It’s so much better than grabbing a takeaway food which is usually really poor on nutrition. What a great service for people who are busy or maybe don’t enjoy cooking so much. 

This was my lunch today, the Purifying Purple Curry, made with beetroots and served with turmeric rice, lentils and peas. I love curries and I love the idea of beetroot in it, because beets are amazing veggies, full of vitamins, minerals and nitrates which are great for lowering blood pressure and for athletic performance as well.

Ok, Recipe Tuesday is here and just to let you kno Ok, Recipe Tuesday is here and just to let you know, I’m still not finished with the carrot cake theme. So today I’m sharing a recipe for a Carrot Cake Smoothie (Paleo, Sugar-Free).
I made it last week just for fun, but then I made it again and again... And actually really like it. So if you also like to pack your smoothies with veggies or you simply just want to try something new and funky, this recipe is perfect for you 😁

What you will need:
🥕1 carrot, peeled and finely grated
🥕1 cup of water
🥕 1/3 to 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder (I love cinnamon, so I used 1/2 tsp, but it might be a lot for some)
🥕 Pinch of allspice, ginger, cloves and cardamom powder
🥕 2 tbsp coconut yoghurt
🥕 1 tsp Maca powder 
🥕 1 scoop vanilla protein (I used @atpscience.au Noway collagen protein)
🥕 1/2 frozen banana OR if you'd like to keep the smoothie low carb 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower (or add both for a nice creamy and thick consistency and extra nutrients)
🥕 And to make your smoothie thicker add either 1/3 cup of oats or 1 tbsp chia seeds

Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend together.
Leave the smoothie "rest" in a fridge for ca 15 minutes, so all the ingredients can soak up the liquids, and then blend again until smooth and enjoy 😊

Ok, Uterni Recept je tady a jen abyste vedeli, tak ja se jen tak nehodlam vzdat tema mrkvoveho dortu. Takze dneska sdilim recept na Carrot Cake Smoothie (Paleo, Sugar-Free). 
Minuly tyden jsem si jen tak ze srandy rekla, ze si zkusim udelat mrkvove smoothie. A pak si ho udelala znovu a pak znovu... Protoze ono mi vazne chutnalo. Takze pokud mate taky radi smoothie, ktera jsou nabita zeleninou nebo jen chcete vyzkouset neco noveho a lehce ztresteneho, tak je tenhle recept primo pro vas 😁
